Do you like to draw? Is the ocean something you’re passionate about? Then here’s the competition for you!
Plastic Oceans Australasia needs a new mascot. This will help us share the message of the impact of plastics in the ocean and guide people on how to reduce single-use plastic. The mascot will also be used in our Education Program, which is used by students all across Australia, New Zealand and beyond. Mascots can range from ocean creatures to something out of this world – there are no limits to your imagination!
This competition is open to people aged between 8 – 15 years old.
Winner will receive a 12-month subscription to National Geographic, Australian Geographic or National Geographic Kids!
You can create the mascot using paints, pencils or digital programs. All you need to do is take a photo or scan it to us. Make sure to give it a catchy name as well! If you’re the winner, our web designer will turn it into something that can be shared across our channels.
COMPETITION CLOSES MIDNIGHT 18 SEPTEMBER 2020.
