About the Role
We’re looking for a creative and passionate Graphic Designer to join our team. Our mission is to change the world's attitude to plastic within a generation and we do so through our comprehensive program for organisations. Single-use plastic is wreaking havoc on our planet and now more than ever we feel it is imperative to empower people to change the way they view and use plastic, whilst inspiring others to do the same.
Responsibilities
Design templates for media releases
Support design EDMs and social media posts
Design templates for program collateral
Build event poster and banner templates
Requirements
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE
We’re looking for someone with:
Essential:
Proficient in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop & Indesign.
Experience in Graphic Design and layout skills.
Excellent communication skills in both written and oral form.
Ability to work autonomously as well as within a team.
Able to commit to a minimum of 4 hours per week.
Desirable:
UX and UI design skills/ experience.
Previous experience with Squarespace website designs.
Can work online and remotely some of the time.
Interested in environmental sustainability and passionate about marine life & human health.
Familiar with “Not for Profit” culture.
Ability to commit time to perform time-critical tasks on an ad-hoc basis.
Able to commit to a minimum of one day per week.
