About the Role

We’re looking for a confident and engaging IT Professional to join our team and provide technical and analytic support. Our mission is to change the world's attitude to plastic within a generation and we do so through our comprehensive program for organisations. Single-use plastic is wreaking havoc on our planet and now more than ever we feel it is imperative to empower people to change the way they view and use plastic, whilst inspiring others to do the same.

Responsibilities

  • Provide access and technical support to the team in relation to Microsoft365, SharePoint & Web

  • Manage the organization’s SharePoint Site

  • Facilitate the process of setting up and running webinars

  • Facilitate the induction of new volunteers and provide training

  • Support team in export/import of products to the Plastic Swap site

  • Develop and implement new features on organisations' websites 

Requirements

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE 

We’re looking for someone with: 

Essential: 

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Teams, SharePoint and Microsoft Access is required. 

  • Knowledge and experience of web-development environment, Wix/Wordpress optimal 

  • Demonstrated ability to use MS Word, Excel and Outlook. 

  • Excellent communication skills in both written and oral form. 

  • Ability to work autonomously. 

  • Able to commit to a minimum of 4 hours per week. 

 

Desirable: 

  • Confident and experienced in providing technical Support, IT Helpdesk experience is an advantage. 

  • Can work online and remotely some of the time. 

  • Interested in environmental sustainability and passionate about marine life & human health. 

  • Familiar with “Not for Profit” culture. 

  • Ability to commit time to perform time-critical tasks on an ad-hoc basis. 

  • Able to commit to a minimum of one day per week.
